Running a business, full time grad school and a 180-page thesis, 2 additional jobs, 6 days a week of exercise, personal trainer certification, and planning and catering my wedding

I’m no stranger to juggling a million different commitments. A few years ago I simultaneously ran a vegan bakery catering service out of my apartment, worked 2 additional jobs, planned and catered my own wedding, trained athletically 6 days per week, became a certified personal trainer, and of course finished my courses and thesis within the expected 2.5 years for my program.

I even had time to hang out with friends, create paper art (filigree, or quilling), design and make jewellery, and play Australian didgeridoo on a regular basis. (Oh, and I maintained an A average and was awarded 12 scholarships.)

Now I run a small business where I provide personal training, nutrition counselling, online coaching, and corporate wellness seminars. In addition to working with clients at my studio, I offer fitness consultations at a local health clinic, attend networking events, and work on multiple writing projects including a 2 books.

Learning to manage myself effectively through two degrees, two businesses, and countless other life commitments was hard work. There were stress-fests. There were accidental double-bookings. And of course there were compromises.
